As I sit here looking at what might be my worst month of sales in 6 years, there are a lot of thoughts going through my head….some helpful and good….with a lot of others that just take me down. I know that I’m not alone and this happens to the best of us. It’s scary to look at an awful performance, it starts to allow questions to pop into your head, ‘can I do this?’ ‘Am I missing something?’ ‘Has my past performance just been lucky?!’
Over the last few years I've spent a lot of time learning, training and coaching a lot of different people. Working on things like understanding our mindset, where our beliefs come from and how those beliefs create our values, our habits and our actions. One of the most impactful lessons I've learned, is about the ability to create a Growth Mindset. Yet, most people I've worked with haven't heard anything about this approach to thinking and behavior. Many of us have it innately, but this is one mental shift, that if truly applied can totally change your outlook on almost anything in life.
